Ingredients Needed in our Air Fry Radish Recipe

    Radish

    Tips on buying radishes.

Select radishes that are firm and smooth.

    Storage.

Radishes can be stored in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks. Remove or cut the greens off of the radish and store in a plastic bag.

    Salt (or seasoning of choice).

I love to use Redmond Real Salt, but I invite you to use your favorite seasoning in this recipe.

    Extra Light Olive Oil.

I always buy my olive oil at the supermarket, but you are more than welcome to buy your olive oil at a speciality store.

Why You Will Love My Air Fryer Radishes?

    • New keto vegetable. When we think of keto and low carb vegetables, we think of greens. Bringing radishes into your menu gives a new, fun vegetable to include in your low carb lifestyle.
    • Easy prep. All you have to do is wash and cut the radishes. What more could you ask for?!
    • Easy clean up. You just need to clean up your air fryer and cutting board.

How to Cook Radishes in the Air Fryer

    • Wash radishes. Cut greens off radishes.
    • Cut radishes in quarters. If you have larger radishes, cut into six slices. (think French fry style).
    • Place cut radishes in a bowl. Add olive oil and salt. Toss.
    • Pour radish mixture into the air fryer basket.
    • Air Fryer or Air Crisp at 360 for 20-25 minutes. Be sure to shake (or toss with tongs) at the 15 minute mark.

What Air Fryer Did You Use?

I used a Ninja Foodi Programmable 10-in-1 5qt Pressure Cooker and Air Fryer. I also own a Phillips Air Fryer. I love both my air fryers!

I don’t own a Ninja Foodi? Can I use any other Air Fryer in this Recipe?

Yes! This recipe will work in all Air Fryers. Follow the exact directions and you will be thrilled with the results.

    How to Store Leftovers?

Leftovers? You probably won’t have any! I am super serious! This is a great appetizer. But if you have leftovers, store in a tightly sealed container in the refrigerator.

    Can I Freeze this Recipe?

You probably will not have leftovers. If you want to freeze this recipe, store leftovers in an airtight container.

How Long Does it Take to Reheat?

I would place it back in the air fryer OR Ninja foodi at 360 for 3-5 minutes to ‘re-crisp.’

What Can I Do with Leftovers?

    Eat them as is!!!!!

What Else Can I Serve with AIr Fryer Radishes?

Since this is a fabulous low carb vegetable side dish, I would serve with one of my Low Carb Slow Cooker Chicken Dishes.

    How many carbs in radishes?

Radishes are incredibly low carb. 1 cup of sliced radishes has only 3.9 grams of carbs. 1 medium radish (¾ inch in diameter) has only 0.2 grams of carbs. Bring these into your life now!!!

    Are radishes keto?

Yes!!!! Radishes are keto. 1 cup of sliced radishes has only 3.9 grams of carbs. 1 medium radish (¾ inch in diameter) has only 0.2 grams of carbs. While many think of having radishes cut up in a salad, remember we can roast and air fry radishes.

What is the best way to store radishes?

Store washed radishes (with the greens removed) in a sealed bag (ziploc) in the refrigerator. The radishes will stay fresh for 1-2 weeks.

    Can you freeze radishes?

While you can freeze radishes, it is important to note the radishes need to be cleaned (this includes scrubbing) as well as blached for 1-3 minutes in boiling water. Remove from water and place in an ice bath. Transfer to a sealed freezer bag.

This recipe seems a little bland. Can I add other seasonings?

Yes and yes! Please remember, I give you all a base recipe. Please please feel free to use your FAVORITE seasonings and spices.
