Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer Ninja Foodi

Ingredients

  • 2 turnips washed
  • 2 tsp olive oil extra light
  • 1/2 tsp salt Redmond Real Salt

Instructions

  • Wash turnips. If greens are on turnips, remove.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut turnips into thin strips (similar to fries)
  • Place sliced turnips in a bowl.
  • Drizzle 1-2 tsp over turnip fries. (IMPORTANT - do NOT add too much oil. This will make the fries soggy)
  • Sprinkle ½ tsp of salt (I use Redmond Real Salt). Toss.
  • Pour mixture in the air fryer.
  • Air Crisp (or air fry) at 360 degrees for 15 minutes.
  • Open basket. Shake basket.
  • Air Crisp (or air fry) for an additional 5-10 minutes.

Notes

Important Notes:
  • Do not OVER oil the turnips. If you do this the fries will be soggy.
  • Cut the turnips THIN. The thicker the cut the longer you will need to cook.
