Air Fryer Artichoke (Low Carb)

My air fryer artichoke appetizer is amazingly low net carb and is perfect for any celebration. Simple pantry friendly ingredients and your air fryer is all you need to make this fabulous dish!

Equipment

  • 1 Air Fryer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can artichoke
  • 3 eggs OR 3/4 cup egg whites
  • 1/2 c almond flour
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 tsp salt Redmond Real Salt

Instructions
 

  • Spray Air Fryer basket with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Pour egg or egg whites in a bowl. If using egg, whisk egg.
  • Drain artichoke hearts. Using a paper towel, pat dry.
  • In a separate shallow bowl, combine almond flour, Parmesan cheese, and salt (or seasoning of choice)
  • Dip artichoke in egg mixture, then almond flour mixture, and line coated artichoke hearts in the Air Fryer.
  • Repeat until the Air Fryer basket is filled.
  • Spray artichoke with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Air crisp (or air fry) at 360 degrees for 7 minutes.
  • Open basket. Using tongs, flip artichoke. Air crisp (or air fry) for an additional 7-12 minutes.
  • Serve!
